The San Luis Yacht Club is located
on the pier in Avila Beach, which
is tucked in the northern bight of
San Luis Obispo Bay, on the Central
Coast of California. |

Weather: Situated on a South facing beach with the prevailing winds and swell from the Northwest, the San Luis Yacht Club enjoys the greatest weather on the Central Coast.

History:
The San Luis Yacht Club was
established in 1937 with emphasis
on boating activities. |

Moorings:
SLYC has moorings available for
vessels up to 55 feet, from
April 1 through October 31.
Daily rentals ($10) are through Del
or Marty on the water taxi at
